The new Cyber-shot DSC-WX1 is the second Sony camera that we’ve recently reviewed to feature the innovative Exmor R sensor, promising better image quality in low-light conditions. Just like its sister model, the TX1, the Sony WX1 utilises a 10 megapixel back-illuminated CMOS image sensor, with ISO speeds up to 3200 and a fast f/2.4, 5x optical zoom lens with image stabilisation. Other key features include burst shooting up to 10 frames per second at full resolution, 720p HD movie recording, and an easy to use Sweep Panorama mode.
